I had the pleasure of working with The Committee of 200 to design and develop an email marketing template for their internal communication strategy. I had previously worked with one of their members to develop an email marketing strategy for her company, and now she was recommending me to the C200.
First, there was a meeting to discussed the goals and objectives where committee members noted the different types of content they might include in their email, and email designs that were pleasing to their eyes. I used this information to research and begin creating a few design variations that were inline with their corporate branding. Once the general design was decided on, I took the design through the process of converting it to HTML/CSS and make it compatible for multiple email service providers. This involves testing in several email service providers to assure the client that their subscribers are seeing their content as intended.
